Here’s what you need to be prepared for a successful shoot day. Obviously, you’ll want to have the property thoroughly clean. But beyond cleaning, here are the things you’ll want to do to get the best results on your shoot.
Please have the property staged as you would like it to look in the photos prior to your photographer’s arrival. While we do not offer staging services, we do include the following three basic setups with every shoot (see examples below). If you require additional staging (kayaks that need to be inflated and set out, etc.), we’ll work with the staging company you’ve hired. If you’re doing your own staging, we ask that you prepare as much as possible in advance, and provide a shot list of staged scenes on or before the day of the shoot. We’ll be on a tight schedule on shoot day to get all of the footage needed and there won’t be time to prepare charcuterie boards, etc. So, please prepare in advance if staging your property.
We’ve put together this checklist to help make sure your property is ready for a successful photo shoot. Addressing these items will save valuable time on shoot day and make sure your space is shown in the best way possible.
